Karan Johar has once again landed himself in a cesspool of nasty trouble and the internet seems pretty enraged after a report suggested that 55-people were infected with Covid-19 who attended his birthday bash.
For the unversed, Karan Johar hosted a birthday party on May 25 at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. The birthday party was indeed a star-studded event with the who’s and who of Bollywood in attendance. The grand party saw the attendance of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ananya Panday, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, and others in attendance.
However, rumours have it that KJo's bash is the Covid-19 hotspot amid the rise in cases again. A recent IndiaToday report quoted an Insider saying, “Karan Johar is currently shooting for Koffee With Karan and undergoing the mandatory RTPCR test. All protocols on the sets are being followed. The guests too are part of the process. The reports of almost 50 guests present at the party testing positive is bizarre. The party was held almost 10 days back and it is only now that Aditya Roy Kapur has confirmed of testing Covid 19 positive.”
The source stressed, “Most of the celebrities and guests who were part of the party have travelled for their individual commitments post the party, yet every time there is a Covid surge amid celebrities, somehow Kjos’s name appears.”
Well, despite the recent reports rubbishing the rumours around the Covid-19 diagnosis, netizens cannot stop trolling the Bollywood filmmaker. A user wrote, ‘Return gift by kj’. Another wrote, ‘Aur kro birthday bash’. A third user wrote, ‘Finally successful party’. Followed by several comments like, ‘Achha hua ki hum nhi gye’, ‘public is having last laugh’.
Notably, Kartik Aaryan, who announced that he is Covid-19 positive on June 4, was not even present at the party. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor was to perform at IIFA 2022 on June 4.
